Translation is the process through which ribosomes synthesize protein, after the completion of transcription(the process through which the DNA (deoxyribonucleic acid) is copied into a new molecule of mRNA). This entire process of copying DNA to mRNA and synthesis is protein using mRNA is involved in gene expression.
