The pH scale is a scale used to specify acidity or alkalinity of a solution.

Explanation of Solution

At 298 K,

  $\text{pH+pOH=14}$ .

At a neutral condition, $\text{pH=pOH=7}.$

Solutions with pH<7 are known as acidic and solutions with pH>7 are known as basic.

The solution with pH which equals to 7 will be neutral.
