Concept Introduction: Product layout is the sequence of machines and work stations which are kept along the line of production. Process layout is the sequence of a work station which are aligned to improve the efficiency of work. A fixed layout is a type of layout for a plant in which a major component of a plant is fixed at the centre while other inputs are moved to the major component. The hybrid layout is an amalgamation of all three layouts which aims to improve the efficiency of the inputs.
