Chapter 57.2, Problem 3R
Summary Introduction
To review:
The process of eutrophication and the nutrients that contribute most to this process in the water bodies.
Introduction:
The eutrophication is also known as the aging of a water body. The process involves the depletion of water as a result of the excess growth of cyanobacteria, algal blooms, and the phytoplankton. The water becomes unavailable for the other aquatic species as a result of which all aquatic life depletes with the depletion of water and it gradually gets converted into a terrestrial area.
