Chapter 41, Problem 7FIB
Summary Introduction
Introduction:
Joints are defined as the connection made between body and skeletal system. It has specialized shape and structural components. It is responsible for controlling the range of motion between the parts that it connects.

An isometric exercise is one in which the joint angle does not change during the application of muscle force. For instance, you can join your hands together, pushing down with one hand and pushing up with the other. In each arm, the muscles that provide the force are connected to the bones of the arm by tendons. If you increase the forces but keep the angles the same, the muscles will still contract. Explain how this is possible.
Joint movements may be nonaxial, uniaxial, biaxial, or multiaxial. Define what each of these terms means.
We discussed three distinct locations in the body associated with Special
Movements. Which one of these synovial joints IS NOT associated with a
special movement we discussed?
O Pivot Joint
O Saddle Joint
O Hinge
