Similarities between Endoderm and Ectoderm.

• Both of them originate from the Germ cell.
• Epithelial tissue can be taken from either Endoderm or Ectoderm.
• All of the cells in these layers consist of identical genetic material.

Difference between Endoderm and Ectoderm.

• The Endoderm is the inner layer and the Ectoderm is the outer layer that is formed during embryonic development.
• Endoderm helps in developing organs like the lungs, stomach, intestine, liver and pancreas. Whereas in Ectoderm, forms outer linings of the body like the epidermis, and hair.
