There are three groups of fishes:
1) Jawless fishes 2) Bony fishes
3) Cartilaginous fishes
- Fishes are highly adaptable to move efficiently by taking round trails .They can also sense their underwater surroundings .
- They uses their gills to absorb oxygen from water.Some fish are also adaptive in detecting the vibrations under the water.
- To save their lives from predators, fishes got adapted to colouring as well. Some of them can easily change their colours according to the surroundings.

There are various species of fishes that adapted to various kinds of habitats like: rivers, ponds, rocky shores, under the sea ice and etc.
