Introduction:

Tapeworms belong to cestodes, which is a class of flat parasitic worms, they usually have several hosts in their life cycle. The adult tapeworms live in intestinal tract of many vertebrates.

Explanation of Solution

The tapeworm are the intestinal parasites that live in the human digestive system. The introduction of the drugs in the intestinal tract causes the decrease in the pulsation of the intestine. This result in decrease in chance of detachment of the parasites.

The decrease in the pulsation of the intestine also allows the nutrients to absorb efficiently. Adding this dug to any other drug would allow the effective absorption of the drugs.
