The digestive system is an organ system that consist of the oral cavity, pharynx, esophagus, stomach, intestine and rectum. However, the structures are different in different organism. The tube-like structure present in neck region is called pharynx. The pharynx also secretes some of the digestive juices which help in digestion of the prey species.
