The main difference between the eudicot and monocot seed is the presence of the cotyledons. All the monocots seeds have an inseparable single cotyledons. The embryo is directly attached to the cotyledons on one side of the monocot seed. A dicot seed is having two cotyledons, which appears separately after removing the seed coat, the embryo is placed between this two cotyledons.
