Given:

Four resistors are connected.

  I1=1.1A

Formula used:

Kirchhoff’s law can be expressed as

  I3=I2+I1  ...... (1)

Here, I1 and I2 are the current moving away from the junction q in the circuit and I3 is the current moving towards the junction q in the circuit.

Calculation:

Kirchhoff’s first rule states that the sum of incoming current towards a junction in a circuit is equal to the sum of outgoing current away from that junction.

Rearrange the equation (1) for I2 ,
