Introduction:
As per Kirchhoff’s junction rule, the amount of current entering a junction is equal to the amount of current leaving the junction. The principle of conservation of charge describes that charge can neither be constructed nor be destroyed. It can only be transferred from one system to another.
Kirchhoff’s junction rule follows the principle of conservation of charge as current is the rate of flow of charge. For a constant currentat a junction, the current flowing in is equal to the current flowing out.Hence, the principle of charge is satisfied, as same amount of charge flows in and out.
