Question
Chapter 22.2, Problem 9BYGO
Summary Introduction
Introduction:
Respiration is a normal phenomenon and occurs when the contraction and relaxation of the muscles surrounding the lungs occurs as air enters and leaves the lungs. The contraction and relaxation of the lungs are brought about by the muscles surrounding the lungs. Some of the muscles that help in respiration are abdominal muscles, intercostal muscles, and the diaphragm. The Boyle's law states that for a constant amount of an ideal gas kept at a constant temperature, the pressure of the gas is inversely proportional to the volume.
