The expression to calculate the resistance of the apparatus is,

  R=VI    ........(2)

The expression to calculate the voltage drop across connecting wire is,

  Vw=(RwR+Rw)V    ........(3)

The expression to calculate the voltage applied to apparatus is,

  Va=I(R+r)    ........(4)

Calculation:

Substitute all the values in the above expression (1).

  Rw=(95m)(0.0065Ω/m)=0.6175Ω

Substitute all the values in the above expression (2).

  R=120V3A=40Ω

Substitute all the values in the above expression (3).

  Vw=(0.6175Ω40Ω+0.6175Ω)(120V)=1.82V
