Plant breeding may be defined as the process, by which the traits of plants can be altered according to the requirements and a better crop can be generated. Naturally, it happens by cross-breeding the nonrelated plants and obtaining the combination of the best of both the plants. This can also happen through recombinant deoxyribonucleic acid (DNA) technology developed by humans.
