Question
Chapter 18, Problem 42RA
Summary Introduction
To review:
The total depolarization caused by slow wave and action potential.
Introduction:
A slow wave can be described as the potential rhythmic electrophysiological episode that occurs within the gastrointestinal tract. These waves are produced by the interstitial cells of Cajal. These cells comprises of about 5% of the cells that are present in the muscularis layer. The cells also contain long processes in order to join the different interstitial cells of Cajal.
