The drugs for treatment of gastritis and gastrophageal reflux along with their action of mechanism.

Introduction:

Gastritis is the erosion of the mucosal lining in the stomach which causes inflammation and damage in the mucosa. Histamine release during this inflammation stimulates the secretion of gastric acid.Normally, excess secretionof gastric acid is neutralized by the bicarbonate ion which is secreted by the Brunner’s gland in the submucosa.
