Chapter 17, Problem 9WIO
Summary Introduction
To explain:
The characteristics that led to the sustained survival of amniotes and insects as land animals.
Introduction:
Arthropods are animals with a segmented body and jointed legs. Their exoskeleton is made up of chitin and has a complex organ system. Centipedes, millipedes, insects, and many more are part of arthropod. Amniotes are the part of chordates with amnion in their eggs. Chordates are complex organisms with the presence of vertebral column and diverse organ systems.

cells.
II - An ability to learn and display complex behavior patterns
III - An exoskeleton, segmentation, and versatile appendages for feeding, locomotion,
and protection
IV - An ability to fill multiple niches through metamorphosis
V - Compound eyes that form high resolution images equivalent to the human eye.
