Introduction:
There are mainly two types of waves: longitudinal wave and transverse waves. When particles of the medium oscillate in the direction of wave propagation, it is called longitudinal wave. When the particles of the medium oscillate at right angle to the direction of the wave propagation, it is called transverse wave.
