Here again we need to use the concept of randomization. To reduce the bias and equalize the groups with respect to unknown factor we need randomization. Therefore, we first need to generate 24 random number without replacement and assign of the tomato plants. Then make a treatment to each of the 4 tomato plants differently. There should be six such different treatments.
