DNA is composed of some molecules called as nucleotides. Each nucleotide is composed of a phosphate group, a sugar group, and a nitrogenous base. The nitrogenous bases are of four types, adenine, thymine, guanine and cytosine. The order of the bases is based on the genetic code.
