Many factors affects the rate of chemical reaction, such as, concentration, temperature etc.
Explanation of Solution
For reaction of molecules with each other, they must undergo collision possessing sufficient energy for making or breaking of bond. There are many factors that increase the rate of reaction, such as, increase of temperature of system, increasing concentration of reactants etc. These factors increase rate of collision between molecules of reactant. Catalysts also increase speed of reaction but they are not consumed in the reaction.
Increase of collision between reactant particles increases speed of reaction.
