From molarity, number of moles of solute present in 1L can be obtained.
Now, mass of the solute can be calculated from number of moles and molar mass as follows:
Here, M.M is molar mass.
Now if this amount is lesser than the observed mass of the solute in a solution, then it is clear that some toxic substance is present in the solution.
