Whether the following statements are true or false:
a. The pectoralis major and coracobrachialis muscles are antagonists.
b. The latissimus dorsi muscle is a major abductor of the arm.
c. The rhomboid major and minor muscles retract the scapula.
d. The deltoid muscle is the main abductor of the forearm.
Introduction:
The name of the muscles is based on several properties, such as size, shape, structure, function, and location. On the basis of location, the muscle can be pectoralis, carpi, and brachii. On the basis of function, they can be adductor, flexor, or abductor. The shape of the muscle differs in deltoid, maximus, minor, and rhomboid muscles.
