Introduction:
The muscles that act on shoulder joints are collectively known as rotator cuff muscles and they are the teres minor muscle, the supraspinatus muscle, the infraspinatus muscle, and the subscapularis muscle. These muscles stabilize the shoulder joints during forceful actions and it holds the humerus in its position, so that other muscles move the arm.
