Introduction:
The bacterial cells being grown on a culture media exhibit a growth pattern. An exponential growth is observed when the cells are grown in batch culture. The concentration of the bacterial cells can be obtained by using a special device called spectrophotometer which works on the concept of optical density. Higher optical density means larger number of bacterial cells are present in the provided sample.
