Introduction:
The adaptive immune response is generated after 3-4 days of pathogen exposure and targets the specific pathogen. The adaptive immune response has two components: Lymphocytes which are T-cell and B-cells, and lymphoid organs which are thymus, spleen, lymph nodes, and tonsil.
