One way to create a pseudo-random three digit number (and we are including one- and two-digit numbers as well) is rand()%1000. That gives numbers from 000 to 999, which is just what we want.
Write a program that generates a random number and asks the user to guess what the number is. If the user's guess is too high then the program should display "Too high, try again." If the user's guess is lower than the random number the program should say "Too low, try again." The program should use a loop that repeats until the user correctly guesses the random number. The program should keep track of the number of guesses the user makes. When the user correctly guesses the random number, the program should display the number of guesses.
As specified, have the program tell the player how many guesses were used. A good player should always be able to find a three-digit number in ten or fewer guesses.
The programs needs to include a menu that allows the user to select easy (3 digit number),…

A laborant in a laboratory does a number of antigen tests in one day. Write a program that
simulates the number of antigen tests done in a day in a laboratory, displays the number of
positives and negatives, and calculates the % of positives in one day. Your program needs
to first generate a random number that will show the number of tests done in a day. One
laboratory in a day cannot do more than 100 tests and less than 1 (they do at least one).
Then for each of the tests, your program needs to generate a random number to show
whether they are positive or negative. In order to write this program, you need to have the
following three functions used by the main function:
test result (void): This function generates a test result. It should randomly
return either one or zero. 1 means positive test result and 0 means negative test result.
float positive percentage (int, int) : This function takes the total number of
positives and the total number of tests and returns the % of positives.…

- CODE USING C++ Did you know that in lotteries, a 3-digit number with the same numbers in all digits like 777 will hit the jackpot in a casino? In the same manner, let's make a program that will test if a certain 3-digit number hits a jackpot or not by identifying if all the digits of a given number is the same as the second inputted number. If it is, print "Jackpot!"; else, print "Nah". Let's try this out now! Input A line containing two integers separated by a space. 777·7 Output A line containing a string. Jackpot!arrow_forwardProblem specification: There is a grid of NXN squares. We can easily determines how many different rectangles (squares are excluded) there are in the grid. For example, in a 3X3 grid, you can find 22 different rectangles, marked as the green rectangles. You can see that we did not count the red ones as they are squares. In this assignment, you will write a Java program that takes the value of N as input and determines the total area of all the rectangles in the grid. Assume that the smallest squares in the grid have length 1. So a 3X2 rectangle will have an area of 6. For example, the total area of all the rectangles in the 3X3 grid is 66.…arrow_forwardFix any errors that you find. Use in-line comments to explain how and why you fixed the bugs. Test your program. If you found and fixed all the errors, your code should function as specified: The code should allow users to enter basic, one operator arithmetic expressions using integers or doubles. Then, it should calculate the result of the expression and output the results. For example, if the user inputs “2 + 2,” the calculator should output “2 + 2 = 4.” The operations the program should perform are addition (+), subtraction (-), multiplication (*), and division (/). The user should be asked whether they wish to continue after evaluating each expression. If the user types “Y” or “y,” the program should ask for a new arithmetic expression. If the user types “N” or “n,” the program should terminate with the message: “Program Finished.”arrow_forward

You will implement a variant of the number guessing game we played in lecture. In this variant, you will ask the user to guess the price of a $42,500 car. Let's assume that the player knows the price of the car is rounded to the nearest $500. If a player's guess is not exactly correct, your program will tell them they are either too high or too low. The player will get as many guesses as they need to guess the price of the $42,500 car. However they will only win the game if they used 5 or fewer guesses. Here are two examples of how the program should work for both cases: Guess the price and win the prize! Enter your guess:50000 Too high! Enter your guess:40000 Too low! Enter your guess:45000 Too high! Enter your guess:42500 You won the car! Guess the price and win the prize! Enter your guess:46000 Too high! Enter your guess:45000 Too high! September, April, June, and November have thirty days, all the rest have 31 except for February which has 28 except in leap years when it has 29. 3. 1990 is not a leap year. - Write a program that prints the insurance fee to pay for a pet according to the following rules: (Note: must use a switch statement to determine pet fee) A dog that has been neutered costs $50.A dog that has not been neutered costs $80.A cat that has been neutered costs $40.A cat that has not been neutered costs $60.A bird or reptile costs nothing.Any other animal generates an error message. The program should prompt the user for the appropriate information: a character code for the pet type, and a yes/no response for the neutered status. Use a code letter to determine the kind of animal (i.e. D or d represents a dog, C or c represents a cat, B or b represents a bird, R or r represents a reptile, and anything else represents some other kind of animal). Use a code letter to determine the neutered status(i.e. Y or y represents yes, N or n represents no). The user should be allowed to enter the input in either upper or lower case. This is 1st of January and Aladdin will be in jail for one year. He was recently caught for helping forty thieves. Now he has nothing to do. But he knows that Jasmine is waiting for him. Then Aladdin rubs the magic lamp and The Genie appears. Then he asked The Genie to make such a magical program. Unfortunately the Genie doesn't know programming and he wants your help to create that magical program. Genie will give you N as the day of the year and you have to print in which month that day is.
