Interpretation:
The reason for the presence of identical genomes but massively divergent proteomes in two different cell types from the same organism should be determined.
Concept introduction:
In genetics and molecular biology, a genome is a genetic material present in an organism. It comprises of DNA. The genome contains both the genes and the noncoding DNA, in addition to chloroplast DNA and mitochondrial DNA. The study of the genome is known as genomics.
