• Walmart is developing an app for the smart phone which will be capable making its customer order the products based on the requirement from the Walmart.com when the products are out-of t-stock in the local physical store.

Refinement made in the business strategies with the use of information technology:

• The testimonies of introducing a shipping free purchase that can be made online for the items that are ordered are being made.
• The company is working on the links that will improve the purchase made by the customers instead of being waiting in a long queue to pick their purchase. The improvisation is made through the link that is laid with store inventory, website and with the apps that is designed.
• The prices that is provided by the other retailer are being monitored through the website and based on the need the company can lower their prices if required.
• The third party retailers are being increased such that the competitive retailer present in the Amazon can be taken.
