Summary Introduction

Introduction: “Glomeromycetes” are a diverse group of fungi which absorbs food from roots of the plant. They have a characteristic filamentous form composed of hyphae (single filament) called mycelium (mass of hyphae). They form “symbiotic relationship” with a wide variety of plants. Though previously they were placed in zygomycetes but molecular data analysis put them in a separate group.
