The amino-terminal residue of the peptide which produces the given compound by one cycle of the Edman degradation is to be predicted.
Concept introduction:
Edman degradation is a chemical process of sequencing the amino acids present in a peptide. This degradation is carried out in the presence of phenyl isothiocyanate which is known as Edman reagent. It converts the amino group present in a peptide chain into thiourea derivatives.
