Introduction:
The body always deals with toxic molecules, which should be removed from the body in order to avoid the body from any kind of harm. Therefore, the process of degradation of these toxic substances is carried out by a membranous organelle called peroxisome. The mechanism of degradation is maintained by some enzymes. Peroxisomes have many oxidative enzymes that are involved in this process. These enzymes use oxygen in the detoxification reaction.
