To Explain: The glass window does not separate white light into colors like the prism.
Explanation of Solution
Introduction:The white light rays does not get separated into seven colors as the two faces of the same glass pane are in parallel. Upon entering the front face, the separated rays emerge from the second face and have equal angles. When a person sees these separated rays, they converge into white light.
The first and second faces of the prism are not parallel to each other, so the separated rays have different angles at the other face of the prism. In other words, these separated colored rays are emerging out from the prism at different angles.
In the case of prism, they do not converge into white light, but diverge to form VIBGYOR.
Conclusion:
White light is a mixture of seven colors.
