Explanation of Solution

Introduction:A repeating movement that transfers energy through space or matter is knownas wave.A narrow beam of light that travels in straight line is termed as light ray.

First, check the glare from light source on horizontal non-metallic surface. After doing this, look at the reflection over the sunglasses. Conditions to check whether a pair of sunglasses is polarizing or notare mentioned below:

• If sunglasses will be polarizing, there would be orientations of glasses. These orientations of glasses almost block out the glare.
• If a pair of sunglasses will not be polarizing, glare would be slightly diminished by the same amount at all orientations of glasses.

Conclusion: The polarized sunglasses will help to see objects in water or in sun light without blinking eyes.
