Concept explainers
To write:
A hypothetical plant hormone developed by you, its functions and the name given to it.
Introduction:
Plant hormones are chemicals which control major plant processes like germination, growth, phototropism, etc.
Explanation of Solution
The plant hormone that I would develop would be a hormone that allows the same plant to have leaves and flowers of different kinds.
Such a hormone would allow the plant to have a variety of leaves and flowers on each of its branches.
Such a plant would increase the beauty of the plant of the plant and also enable the development of different kinds of fruits from the flowers.
The name given to this hormone would be ‘varion’ as it produces a variety of leaves and flowers.
Thus, the hormone ‘varion’ developed by me would allow the same plant to look like many different plants due to its diverse leaves, flowers and fruits.
