Chapter 2, Problem 10TYK
Summary Introduction

Introduction: A covalent bond is a chemical bond formed by sharing of electrons between two or more atoms. The formation of a covalent bond takes place when the atoms require electrons for attaining stability. The formation of a bond by the sharing of one pair of valence electrons is called as a single covalent bond. Most common elements present in living organisms are carbon, oxygen, hydrogen, nitrogen, sulfur, and phosphorus.
