Condition: In photosynthesis there are various kinase enzymes that convert ATP --> ADP + Pi. A mutation causes these kinase enzymes to stop working. What impact will this have to photosynthesis? Explain why. (Specific values are not required, just an indication of overall effect and reasons why.)
A. The C4 plant performs photosynthesis more efficiently than the C3 when the CO2 concentration is 600ppm or less.  Provide one reason why the rate of photosynthesis doesn’t change for the C4 plant when the CO2 concentration increases above 400 ppm.   B. Discuss what is happening in the C3 plant when the CO2 levels are below 50 ppm.  Provide one reason why this does NOT happen to the C4 plant.
Can someone help me understand this. A student set up an experiment to show the effect of light color on photosynthesis in Elodea plants. She filled two test tubes with distilled water and placed a piece of Elodea in each of the tubes. She added a drop of phenol red, which turns red in a basic solution and yellow in an acidic solution. She blew in each tube before placing the volumeters on the top of the tube. Why did she blow into the tube? to add oxygen to the tube to add carbon dioxide to the tube to add carbohydrates to the tube to add sodium bicarbonate to the tube
