The diagram representing the relationship between total spin angular momentum (S) and the z-component of spin angular momentum (Sz) for the electron spin is to be drawn.

Concept introduction:

Angular momentum is shown by the orbitals when the atom is rotating. The energy of rotation of atom depends upon the quantum number (l) but does not depend upon the quantum number (ml) as the total angular momentum of the atom is quantized. Similarly the motion of electron is also accompanied by angular momentum.
