Introduction:

T-lymphocytes are of two types: TC and TH cells also called as “Cytotoxic T cells” and “Helper T cells” respectively. These cells are activated after infection of cells with foreign pathogens causing the activation of the processing and presentation of peptides on the surface of the infected antigen presenting cells.
