Chapter 12, Problem 4TYK
Summary Introduction

Introduction: Cell division is a natural process in which a parent cell divides to produce two daughter cells. There are many phases of cell cycle. In a dividing cell, the cell cycle consists of the interphase and mitotic (M) phase. The interphase includes G1 phase, S phase (synthesis), and G2 phase. Through these phases, a cell grows within the DNA replication and divides into daughter cells.
