To explain:
The way through which nondisjunction produces offspring with too many or too few offspring.
Introduction:
During the metaphase of the meiosis I stage and during the meiosis II, the homologous pair of the chromosomes and sister chromatids respectively align at the equatorial plate. The spindle fibers pull the chromosome or the chromatids towards the pole in anaphase I and anaphase II respectively. This process of separation of the chromosome is known as the disjunction of the chromosomes.
