Without another moment of thought, I decided to pop one of the pure pills into my mouth and down the thing with a swig of rum. I could taste the white tablets gruesome effects on the tip of my tongue. The sensation was almost like dancing, I was happy, and the thought of everyone else disappeared from my mind. My mind clouded over after I started blaring music to compete with the jitters I needed to let out. The song that came on didn’t matter, because I was lost in the music of my own heartbeat. Rhythm got faster, the bass pounded, and something else in the background was banging too. Maybe it was the door, but I didn’t care. That’s when I saw the door open. I swore I locked it, I shrugged it off anyways. The person who came in had …show more content…
There was a clear white building ahead, a huge cross planted on the front. A person dragged me out, holding me close to their tanned neckline without defiance. After I was put onto a comfortable bed and sped off, I lost track. My eyes closed. Clearly, at the edge of my bed, a blonde and brunette were arguing. My eyes focused, and I saw Marco Bodt and Reiner Braun before me. “What did you give to him?!” “I already told you! I didn’t give him anything! I haven’t even seen him since I gave him the key to his apartment!” Marco choked down tears, “Then tell me, how exactly did Jean get those drugs! They were from you! I checked over the tablets, marked obviously with your signature!” Every time he says my name, my heart begins to burst. It’s in the way he says is, pronouncing the noun with a French accent the way it should be, his tongue licking his bottom lip after he says my name. “I don’t know, Marco! I’ve only sold to that blonde recently, the one you said that was his friend.” “Armin, you mean? There’s no way he could’ve come over and given Jean anything, I know no one has come over…” “Who 's to say he didn’t leave the house?” “No, no, Jean would never willingly go to get some drugs. That’s not him.” “Marco,” Reiner put a hand on Bodt’s shoulder, “You told me how he was acting the past couple of days, sweetheart I’m sorry, but he really might have.” “No!” I shook under the intense sound of Marco’s voice breaking, “You don’t even know him, Reiner! He’s
“He is just a boy at my co-o… how do you know that name?” She asked, suspiciously.
“You weren’t going to tell me. You were going to sneak out again. You know how I feel about you. You know I would go crazy if anything happened to you.”
“Nope. Here’s a picture of him. His name is Austin Giles. I met his mother, Joann. You might want to say very little around that chick.”
“So you are my special appointment. How is it possible that anyone would think that of you?”
“No. The only time I saw him near my door is that one time …remember? Last year, I think. When I opened my front door and he was standing there motionless.” I giggle trying to lighten the conversation and not let him worry. “He is such a weird guy.”
“I do not believe you. My son saw you. He identified your blonde hair and blue car.”
“No man, I am sorry. I haven't seen him. But this is boring, and I have to go do a drop off anyway, so I’ll swing by later.” Austin insisted, almost apologetically as he slumped his backpack onto his shoulder.
Then SLAM! The door shuts. So many things are running through my head at once. But then I think the lock. Lock the door. My whole body is shaking with both fear and adrenaline. Finally the door is locked.
Oddly enough, my friend John opened the door. I had to stand away from the argument because of my personal disliking of conflict, but from what
“Yea, he’s our father, do you know him?” I ask, taking a glimpse at Marcello, he gives me a look saying “Do not trust him!”.
“Oh yeah…Wait, he did this?” Monica’s eyes got wide. “Please tell me you called the police on his ass.”
“New medicine?” I asked. The pill was red and oval shaped. I took the pill and swallowed it. At that moment I felt funny. The room started to spin and the room took on a deep red color with splashes of black here and there. That’s when my head gave way and my mind slipped. Everything was black but it only lasted a few seconds.
"Um.... Who are you?" Questioned the unknown boy with the brown hair. He was staring at Marcus with the eyes of a confused puppy, and Marcus stared back."I don 't mean to be rude, but seriously... Who are you?"
I finally rolled out of bed and opened my eyes to reveal an isolated stone room with a bed dead in the center of it and nothing else to speak of. I opened the big, creaky door only to witness the lemon-sour light penetrating my eyes and overpowering the distant horizon. Then after a few paces, I opened another door which led straight the main hall where I was being awaited.
“It’s nothing like that Kuroko. And thanks, but I already knew. I ran into him while I was out last night and he helped me with… with my Sisters.”
