Explanation of Solution
In the diagram, peptide bond is shown in red. The OH of carboxylic acid group of glycine and H of NH2 group of alanine is removed as water for peptide bond formation. The peptide bond is basically an amide bond formed by the reaction of COOH and NH2 group as shown in the diagram.
