At this time, liver produces glucose by using different biomolecules. In case of people, who are on diet for weight loss, the fat is mostly used by the body as a source of energy. In human body, fat is stored in the form of triglycerides. From the given table, it can be found that during starvation in rats, the glucose is produced by using proteins and fatty acids.
