Introduction:
The term aphasias refers to disorders in speech and language that may be caused to the brain by damage through either head injury or stroke. In majority of the people, language area is primarily located in the left hemisphere of the cerebral cortex. There are two main areas of cortex that are identified as, motor speech area and Wernicke’s area.
