Chapter 8, Problem 10CP
Summary Introduction
To review:
Reasons for directing the motor output by the cerebral hemisphere to contralateral side of body
Introduction:
The cerebrum is divided into two hemispheres which perform higher order functions and complex skills which include memory, speech, cognitive thoughts, problem solving, attention and emotions. Speech production is coordinated by Broca’s area present in the left frontal lobe of the brain.
