The regulation of blood pressure is a complex process that must take into account all the processes involved that affect it. The normal blood pressure is fixed at 80/120 mm of Hg (millimeter of mercury). In case blood pressure exceeds this range, it results in hypertension, while when it is lower than this range, it leads to hypotension.
