Summary Introduction

To review:

The differences in the structures of pubic arch, greater sciatic notch, and the sacrum between males and females.

Introduction:

The pelvis of males and females bear noticeable structural differences. The sex of an individual can be determined with 90% confidence by examining the pelvis structure. Wider, lighter and shallower pelvis of females is adapted for child bearing. The anterior region of the pelvic bones is called pubis, which lies in the medial body plane. It is a V-shaped structure that has inferior and superior ramus extending from it.
