Velocity of airplane with respect to ground is 375 m/sec and velocity of missile with respect to plane is 782 m/sec.

Formula used:

If velocity of A with respect to B is $V_{AB}$ , velocity of B with respect to C is $V_{BC}$ , then velocity of A with respect to C is

  $V_{AC}=V_{AB}+V_{BC}$

Calculation:

It is given that velocity of airplane is 375 m/sec

Now, taking ground as a reference.

  

Now, velocity of plane is 782 m/sec with respect to plane which will be in same direction as velocity of airplane,

  

As both velocity of airplane and velocity of missile is in same direction so velocity of missile with respect to ground will be sum of both the velocity.

Velocity of missile with respect to ground is,
